Seoul Business Agency successfully hosts Global Innovation Forum at CES 2026 - Global startup ecosystem in the spotligh

The Seoul Business Agency (SBA, President and CEO Hyun Woo Kim) announced that it held the Global Innovation Forum, the largest nation-led global startup ecosystem networking event at CES 2026, on the second day of the exhibition, Wednesday, January 7 (local time), in Las Vegas, the United States.

The event drew strong attention, featuring a more substantial program than in previous years, thanks to cooperation with seven countries leading the global startup ecosystem. It marked the first nation-based startup competition and networking program of its kind at CES.

The Global Innovation Forum began with the goal of using CES, the world’s largest exhibition, to connect startup ecosystems across countries. The event first launched in 2025 under the name “Seoul Innovation Forum,” in cooperation with five national pavilions and served as the inaugural gathering of Eureka Park participant countries at CES.

Its success stemmed from demonstrating the potential to evolve into a platform for inter-country cooperation by bringing together global national pavilions in one place, beyond individual booth exhibitions, and having representative innovative startups from each country participate in an IR pitching competition. From 2026, the program strengthened its structure to offer CES-participating startups more stable and expanded opportunities for global collaboration, and rebranded the event as the Global Innovation Forum.
